She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dr. David J. Baar; her sons, Dr. Geoffrey Decker (Amy), Mark Decker (Katie) and Jonathan Decker (Josie); her grandchildren, Anna, Cameron, Aaron and Dylan; her parents, Dr. John Meekma and Pauline Meekma; and her siblings, Dr. Larry Meekma (late Pat), Bonnie Kats (John) and Glenn Meekma (June).
