She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles; her sons, Greg Newman (Nicola) and Bart Newman (Stacey); her grandsons, Max, Jake, Mitch and Brandon; her nephew Jeff Sismelich (Gloria); and her niece Tammy Lang (Curt).

Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brady-Gill Funeral Home (16600 Oak Park Ave, Tinley Park, IL 60477). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Damian Catholic Church (5250 155th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452).
