He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harlan Ready and Gladys Marie Westbrook Ready; his sister Sharon Ann Ready Hillemeyer; and his brother-in-law John Allholf. He is survived by: his sister Mary Katherine Ready Allholf; his nephew Joe Hillemeyer; and his friend Phyllis McElmurry.
He was a strong believer in AA, and though he had beat his addictions many years ago, he faithfully attend AA every week until Covid.
