She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Nielsen and Gladys Nielsen; her husband Kenneth A. E. Dahlgren; her children, Gregory (Carolyn), Kenneth (Gina) and Diana Kritzer (Robert); her grandchildren, Mabry (Miguel), Alec, Kyle, Samantha, Lindsay, Ellis and Ryan; and her great grandchild Charlotte.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Assistance League Chicagoland West or, in honor of her husband, the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.
