He was predeceased by: his siblings, Elaine Silverwise (Frank), Shirley Jones (Bob) and Dolores Phelan (Tom). He is survived by: his wife Mary Hoganson; his children, George Jr. Hoganson (Karen), Barbara Hoganson (John Harden), Eileen Moylan (Marty), Tom Hoganson (Julie) and Matt Hoganson (Michelle); his grandchildren, George M. (Carrie), Catherine (Nick), Christine (Colby), Taylor (Vanessa), Michael (Jennifer), Jennifer (Pat), Jon, Sarah, David and Tommy (Martha); his great grandchildren, Cece, Ben, Evangeline, Clara, Hazel, Jack, Ella, Clark, Molly, Lucy, Kaylin, Taryn, Annalynn, Emmett and Zoey; and his sister Bobbi Mead (late James).
Interment Private. in lieu of flowers, memorials to Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, 1140 West Jackson Blvd. Chicago, IL 60607, are appreciated.
