With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Florence E. Staege (Oak Brook, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Daisy Ayre (Elliot); and her aunts, Violet Chapman (Horace), Rose Damen (Paul), Lilly Olson, Pansy Elliot and Margaret Robinson (Albert).

She is survived by: her sons, Mark (Cheryl LeDuc) and Dan Mourlas; her brother Frank Ayre (Ruth Ann); her nieces, Annette Ayre, Caryn Krueger (Keith), Heidi Van Eerden (Christopher) and Heather Overbeek (Mark); and her father Edgar Ayre.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Florence's name to Karanda Missions Hospital, Zimbabwe, Africa (karanda.org) are deeply appreciated.
