With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmett Eugene Fleming of Oak Brook, Illinois, who passed away on July 9, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Fleming and Nora Fleming; his parents-in-law, Peter and Mary Thalmann; his former wife Alberta Fleming; his daughter Cathy Fleming; and his siblings, Anna Catherine Fleming, Mick (Barb), Bob and Vince (DG).

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Susan Fleming; his daughters, Karen Groppel (David) and Colleen Hanna (Christopher); and his grandchildren, Emily, Monica, Justin, Nathan and Conor.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association and Holy Family Catholic Community.
