He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kubik and Bernice Kubik; and his siblings, Frank Kubik, Kenneth Kubik, Harriette Vrtis and Bruce Kubik.

He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Kubik (Sandy) and Jeffrey Kubik (Sarah); and his grandchildren, Kristina Barnett (Alex), Daniel Kubik, Michael Kubik, Elizabeth Foran (Joseph), James Kubik (Maura), Mary Katherine, Patrick Foran, Liliana and Ethan Barnett.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elmhurst Community Funeral Home – the Ahlgrim Chapel (567 Spring Rd, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM and at 12:30 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (7201 Archer Rd, Justice, IL 60458).

“I’m saddened to hear of the death of Dan Kubik. He was a very important part of my career. I first met him in 1983 when he was a Consultant for the Insurance Company where I worked. In 1986 he hired me for a new Company he was starting and I worked for him until he retired. He gave me more opportunities than I think CEO’s today would not. I owe him a great deal and have thought of him often through the years. Maryann Hogate”
