It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Richards of Oak Brook, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Barbara has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter and Sylvia; her aunts, Carrie Pankau, Bessie Pelican and Mamie Beadell; and her cousins, Eddie, Nester Sedemka and Linda Kwak.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth Richards; and her cousin Nancy Aldrich (Jay).
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at 5545 N Clark St, Chicago, IL 60640.
