He was predeceased by: his parents, Djuja and Simo; his wife Marija; and his siblings, Dusan (Jelka) and Djuka.
He is survived by: his children, Nikola (Karen) and Bozidar (Tania); his grandsons, Brandon and Nathan; and his siblings, Smilja Maksimovic (Vlade) and Bosko (Bosa).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Monastery (35240 W Grant Ave, Third Lake, IL 60030). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
