He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pershing and Catherine "Irene" Krause Pershing; and his siblings, Fred Louis Pershing and Carol Ann Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Herlinda Pershing (Acuna) of Northlake; his children, Samuel Morales (Sue), Diane Kuhlmann (Michael) and David Lee Pershing Jr. (Janelle); and his siblings, Rose Marie Huddleston, Mary Beth Bauger and John Phillip Pershing. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
