She was predeceased by: her husband Gene A. Helma; her child-in-law Gail Helma; her great grandchild Declan Eugene; and her siblings, Anton Panek (late Frances), Hillard Panek (late Lorraine) and Edward Panek (late Helen).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Helma (late Donna) and Janine Teschner (Larry); her grandchildren, Corrine Laarveld (Brian), Catheleen Gehrke (Scott), Colleen Buol (Matthew), Danielle and Marc Helma; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Makenna, Jonathan and Matthew G.; and her brother Leonard Panek (Blanca). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
