With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert M. MacMillin of Northbrook, Illinois, who passed away on May 7, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Edna; his sons, Douglas (Amy), David (Beckie) and Tom (Angela); his grandchildren, Sam, Clayton, Henry, Chloe and Bo MacMillin; and his siblings, David MacMillin (Mary), Norman and Martha Cull. He was also cherished by 11 nieces and nephews.
Owner of MacMillin Hydraulic Engineering Corp. in Skokie, Church Elder, Past President of the Northbrook Historical Society, Northbrook Civic Foundation, The Old Willow Club and former member of the Northbrook Plan Commission.
