He was predeceased by: his father Robert; his wife Susan; his son Peter Whittaker; his grandson Peter; and his siblings, Robert Whittaker and Mary Bednarski.
He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Howard (Trevor), Charles and Thomas (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Emily, Charlie and Will.
