He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Emma Prorokova; his children, Tatiana Kalugina and Yelena Kalugina (Mark Shapiro); his grandchildren, Daniel Shapiro, Jacob Shapiro and Luba Kalugina; and also Alla Kalugina.
