Nina Laskavaya Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2024, at the age of 95, Nina Laskavaya (Northbrook, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Nina had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Nina may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Lev Laskavy; her children, Tatayana Laskavaya (late Sam Kroshinsky) and Anatoly Laskavy (Svetlana); her grandchildren, Gary, Vlad Kroshinsky, Tatayana Musal (Andrew), Sergie Maniev (Luba), Olga Maniev (Rushel), Alex Maniev (Alice) and Diana Israel (Eran); and her sibling Genia Feldman. She was also cherished by 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sunset Memorial (3100 Shermer Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062). A reception was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:30 AM at 250 McHenry Rd, Wheeling, IL 60090.
