He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Toby Katz; his children, Stuart Katz (Gina), Alex Katz (Marnie) and Rachel Katz; his grandchildren, Marshall of Noah, Max and Joni; his parents, Etta Katz and Ari Katz; his parents-in-law, Joan Herzoff (Nitzkin) and Stuart Nitzkin; his siblings, Geri Emalfarb (Hal) and Steven Katz (Rochelle); and his sibling-in-law Ira Nitzkin.
