She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Merker (Olga Oertli) and Olive Merker; her husband Edmund Walsh; and her brother Dan Merker. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Diliberto (Anthony), Patrick Walsh (JoEllen), Dan Walsh (Ellen), Maureen O'Brien (Jim) and Margaret Grouzard (Chuck); her grandchildren, Steve Walsh (Kim), Brian Walsh (Amy), Ken Walsh (Diana), Meghan Hopps (Chris), Lauren Such (Matt), Kevin Such, Michael Such, Madeline Grouzard and Grace Marie Grouzard; and her great grandchildren, Sadie, Piper, Teddy and Parker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the N. H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home (1240 Waukegan Rd, Glenview, IL 60025). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Norbert and Our Lady of the Brook Parish (1809 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062).
