He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Phyllis Galanter; his parents, Henry Galanter and Dorothy Winsberg Galanter; his children, Mickie Applebaum (David), Joan Lewin (Matt) and Bill Galanter (Noreen); his grandchildren, Danny Lewin (Katie Martin-Browne), Amy Lewin (Trent Fredrickson), Jenny Lewin, Andy Applebaum (Sophia), Alyssa Applebaum (Danny Benedict), Betsy Applebaum, Nina, Allison Galanter and Kayla Mandel; and his great grandchild Gabriel Lewin.
