She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Mathein and Isabel Mathein; her husband Albert; her children, William Nemmer (Debra), Joseph Nemmer (Suzy), Jane Fanta (John), Michael Nemmer (Denise), Mary Paul (John), Julia Wirth (Peter), Patricia Sheptoski (Chris) and Timothy Nemmer (Julie); and her siblings, Nancy Mortinson (late Donald), Ed Mathein, Jr. (late Sue), Bill Mathein (late Jane), Bob Mathein (Gail) and Dan Mathein (Jackie).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Norbert and Our Lady of the Brook Parish (1809 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association, (https://alz.org) St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Norbert School. (select school from the fund option).
