He was predeceased by: his sister Joyce Dow; his parents, Maurice Berkelhamer and Jeanette Berkelhamer; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Rubenstein and Jules Janowitz.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Ruth, Ethan and Emma; his sister Rita Berkelhamer Janowitz; his nieces, Sheri Mussar (Rein), Maureen Shelton (Greg), Michelle Egan (Colm) and Rachel Marks (Andy); and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Rubenstein, Carole Rubenstein and Jim Dow.
