He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dorothy Jean Carlson; his children, Sherri Vincent (Frank), David (Debbie) and Sandy Day (Gregg); and his siblings, Gale Carlson (Sandra) and Marilyn Wolden (Royce).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CHIEF, a ministry to Native Americans that was close to Gordon's heart, which he prayed for daily.
