We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2024, at the age of 82, Gerda H. Niemann of Northbrook, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Gerda leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Gerda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband Josef B. Niemann; and her siblings, Hubert Evers (Cilli) and Maria Scheper (Josef). She is survived by: her children, Elisabeth "Lisa" Niemann (Martin Kemser) and Andreas "Andy" Niemann (Susan); and her grandchildren, Josef Niemann, Christian and Katherine Niemann-Kemser. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
