With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George L. Messenger of Northbrook, Illinois, born in Richmond, Illinois, who passed away on April 2, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gerry; his son Gary; his parents, George Messenger and Viola Messenger; and his brother Wayne Messenger.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Hutchinson (Bob), George and Greg Messenger (Sue); his grandchildren, Jason Hutchinson (Samantha), Dina Burch (Marcus), Laura Messenger (Scott Pollard), Andy Messenger (Abigail Bline), Maren Messenger and Jessica Messenger; and his sister-in-law Trudy Messenger. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
