He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Zina Oleynik; his children, Max Serdyukov (Elina) and Masha Serdyukova; his stepson Alex Oleynik (Kristina); his grandchildren, David, Mitchell, Milana and Yana; and his brother Leon Trakhtengarts (Rima).
