He was predeceased by: his parents, Babajan and Asnat; his siblings, Mary Tamimi (Fred), Janie Joseph (Jonathan) and Samuel; and his brother-in-law David Sayad.

He is survived by: his wife Florence; his children, Mark (Silva), Rammina Hamill (John) and Ninveh Neuman (Chris); his grandchildren, Grace, Matthew, Edward, Samuel, Sophia, Julia and Jack; his siblings, Robert (Martha) and Nora Sayad; and his sister-in-law Akabel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
