He was predeceased by: his parents, Gertrude Spangler and Paul Spangler. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Ben (Aaron Goynshor), Jamie (Andrew Lampert) and Joey; his pet Manny; and his sister Anne (Stanley Hollenbeck). He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and countless loving friends.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he provided complimentary puzzles for teachers to use in the virtual classroom setting.
