She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Palomares and Catalina Gonzalez; and her grandson Victor Olivera. She is survived by: her children, Betty (Timothy Powell), Vicki Nugent (Jim) and Kiki Hoffman (Mark); her sister Martha Govín (late George T.); and her grandchildren, Matt Pianko (Hannah), Blair Andrus (PJ), Jamie Nugent (Austin), Jack Nugent, Charlie Powell, Andrew Nugent, Robert Hoffman, Michael Hoffman, Sofia Olivera and Sam Hoffman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
