With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Abt of Northbrook, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Morton Abt; and her parents, Helen Levin Kaplan and Ruben Skor. She is survived by: her children, Steven, Richard, David Pearlman, Lisa Gordon (Robert), Mona Tye and Elliot Abt (Kathy); and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Jeffrey (Danielle), Marc, Leah Pearlman, Talia Nathan (Scott), Aaron Mittman, Elana Abt, Noah Tye (Hadassah), Abby Chung (Phillip) and Rebecca Zerivitz.
