It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Asya Berger (Northbrook, Illinois), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Asya may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Stanislav Goldman; her daughter Margarita Goldman (Illya Mirtsyn); her grandchildren, Ilana Kazakish (Stepan Kobzey), Michael Kazakish, David Mirtsyn and Michelle Mirtsyn; her great grandchildren, Nathan Aaron and Stella; and her sister Paula Berger (Steven Nayvelt).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (3100 Shermer Rd, Northbrook, IL 60062). A shiva was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Ilana Kazakish Residence (4 Elsinoor Dr, Lincolnshire, IL 60069).
