He was predeceased by: his son Steven Hoffman; his parents, Albert Hoffman and Fritzie Hoffman; and his sister Marilyn Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Janet Jacobson; his son William Hoffman; his stepchildren, Joel Jacobson (Julie) and Jeri Topel (Howard); his grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan Jacobson, Jessica, Allie and Jacob Topel; his brother Burton Hoffman (Libby); and his sister-in-law Roslyn Feldberg (Ross).
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Congregation Beth Shalom (3433 Walters Ave, Northbrook, IL 60062). A shiva will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the same location.
