It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Portugal (Northbrook, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 8, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis and Rose Baskin (Gellman); her children, Cary Portugal and Lauren Kaufman (Chuck); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Allison Portugal, Jamie and Alex Kaufman. She was also cherished by child with no relatives.
