Zarek of Northbrook, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund; her great-grandparents, Gigi (John), Mena, Taylor (Parker), Tavi, Jordan, Mila (Paul), Asha (Joey) and Colette; and her parents, Joseph and Stephanie.
She is survived by: her children, John (Carol), Mary Stover (William), Peggy Oddo, Anne Douglas (Paul) and Edmund (Casandra); her grandchildren, Paul, Julie, Stephanie, Anthony, Monica, David, Thomas, Christopher, Jessica, Lauren, Alexandra and Haley; and her sister Terry.
Alice volunteered at the Wednesday food pantry weekly until Covid and her health changed things.
