He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James and Goldye Giddens (Davidson); his daughters, Ruth Diane Giddens and Renee Lisa Maggart; and his siblings, Terry Giddens, Jerry Giddens, James Giddens, Richard Giddens, Gary Giddens, Melody Sue Watson, Carol Joye Adkins and Sharon McDonald.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Bertha Sidwell; his children, Randy Giddens (Deanna) of Creve Coeur, Ronnie D. Giddens of Pekin, Rodney Giddens (Cindy) of Pekin, Rhonda Crull (Rick) of Columbia, Roberta Blanchard (Tom) of Pekin and Rebecca Onken (Chris) of Pekin; and his brother Robert Eugene Giddens of St. Clair, Missouri.. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
