He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Schatzman and Rosemary Schatzman (Kelly); his grandparents, Edgar and Betty Baker; and his parents-in-law, Edwin Pietila and Myra Pietila.
He is survived by: his wife Myra Jane Blair; his sons, Derek Schatzman (Jessica) of Bethel, Lukas Edwin Bolen of North Pekin and Zander Talmich Schatzman of North Pekin; his siblings, Amy Burke (Dave) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Christopher Schatzman of Cincinnati, Ohio and Dorsey Bolen of East Peoria; his uncle Clifford White (Carol) of Pima, Arizona; and his pets, Oliver Nels, Felicity Rose and Baron Edwin (Beeps). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
