Michael left this world on February 9, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Viles and Carol Yvonne Davis (Ehrett); his half-brother Leo Davis; and his brother-in-law Lynn Seiss. He is survived by: his children, Jeremie Davis (Tonya) of Marquette Heights, Stephanie Sullivan (Tom) of Pekin and Jason Davis of Pekin; his stepsons, Brendon Schultz (Crystal) of Lake Camelot and Wesley Schultz (Alexandra) of Bastrop, Texas; his grandchildren, Ethan Sullivan, Andrew Sullivan, Chancellor Davis, Gabriel Davis and Hunter Schultz; his sister Tammy Branchfield of North Carolina; his stepmother Sharon Davis of Metamora; his stepsisters, Beth Ledbetter (Dan) of Washburn and Stacey Hibbs of Maryland; his mother-in-law Dixie Seiss of Pekin; his siblings-in-law, Sherry Redfield (Dave) of Pekin and Jeff Seiss (Shannon) of Pekin; and also Mike Klopfenstein.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Summit Point Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Midwest Affiliate.
