He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dolly Mae Hicks and Gloster Hicks; and his parents, Salone Hawkins (John) and James Lear. He is survived by: his daughter Tiffiny S. Davis (Lear) of Chicago, IL.; his sisters, Betty Jones (Colin) of Savannah, GA., Georgia Johnson, Linda Brown, Pamela Drone, Antoinette Lewis (Robert), Denise Lear, Janet Lear and Jacqueline Lear; and his pet Ringo J. Davis. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
