It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Millimaki of North Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Millimaki Sr.; her daughter Debra Acker; her parents, Almond Pullen and Lena Pullen (Desellier); and her brother James Pullen.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Nixon (Greg) and Robert Millimaki Jr. (Heidi); her son-in-law David Acker; her grandchildren, Allison Engman (Charlie), Matthew Acker (Marlena), Drake Peet (Jenna), Kane Peet and Bailey Millimaki; and her great grandchildren, Natalie, Danielle Engman, Henry Acker and Chloe Peet.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Star Hospice of Gurnee.
