He is survived by: his grandfather Pastor Arthur DeVost; his aunt Gladys Miller; his parents, Jimmy Friar and Sharon Friar of Waukegan, IL.; his wife Najeeba Ahmad Friar; his children, Keonna Friar of Racine, WI, Kesha Meyers of Shiloh, IL, Semaj Friar of Waukegan, IL, Jamal Friar of Holiday, FL and Jamaan Friar of Gurnee, IL; his siblings, Jimmie Friar of North Chicago, IL, Key (Marion), LaSandra DeVost of Gurnee, IL, Shalonda Friar of Waukegan, IL, Tania Friar of Gurnee, IL, Tara Friar of Waukegan, IL and Jy'Mmiah Friar of Waukegan, IL; and his friends, Keith Rayford, Keithy Wade and Anthony Joseph Carr. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
