She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Marshall and Flora Marshall; and her husband Benny Hampton. She is survived by: her siblings, Hazel Dixon of Berkeley, CA and Johnnie Polk of Crowley, TX; and her children, Erma May of Zion, IL, Bennie Hampton, Jr. of Gainesville, VA, James Hampton (Margaret) of Evanston, IL, Morris (Patti) of Appleton, WI and Lynn Hampton of Waukegan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bradshaw & Range Funeral Home (2513 W Dugdale Rd, Waukegan, IL 60085). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at 1800 Green Bay Rd, North Chicago, IL 60064.
