It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Spacapan of North Chicago, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on January 11, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerney Spacapan and Marijana Spacapan; his wife Shirley Capp Spacapan; his siblings, Jerry Spacapan, Christine Vencevich and Elsie Miller; and his daughter Shirlynn Spacapan.
He is survived by: his sons, Edward Spacapan, Jr. (Lise), Keith Spacapan (Renee) and Kevin Spacapan (Gayle); his grandchildren, Molly Huff (Jonathan), Mary, Margaret, Madeleine, Melissa, Ben (Casey), John Spacapan, Kristin Pasakarnis (Jim) and Kara Zwirkoski (Matt); his great grandchildren, Britta, Elsie Zwirkoski, Braden Pasakarnis, Forrest Huff and Winston Spacapan; and his son-in-law Mike Nichol.
