It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertina Daniels of North Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Edwards and Mable Edwards (Victoria); her husband Charles Daniels; her son Alfred Joseph Thomas; and her siblings, Leonard Edwards, Jesse Edwards, Rufus Edwards and James Edwards.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Whitfield, Darlene Thomas, Tina Callahan, Charlene Robinson, Diana Wilson (Jerome) and Dyonna Daniels; and her siblings, Russell Edwards (Mary), Gladys Grimes, Andrew Edwards (Patti), Fannie Brown (Kenneth) and Michael Edwards. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In accordance with current State of Illinois mandates due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all guests will be required to wear a face mask at all times. There will be a maximum of 10 people allowed in the funeral home at a time and proper social distancing must be practiced.
