She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Jenkins and Nancy Jenkins; her children, Alphonso Ball and Victoria James; her grandson Dion Roberts; her daughter-in-law Joanne Jenkins; and her siblings, Jessie D. Jenkins, John Jenkins, Dean Jenkins, James Jenkins, Annie Perkins, Minnie Bell Moore and Mary Sue Chatman.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Jenkins, Helen Clark (Timothy), William Jenkins and Janice Roberts (John); her grandchildren, Bryant Jenkins (Tash), Angela Jenkins, Brenda Jenkins, Reginald Clark, Marlea Jenkins, William Jenkins, Ainsley Ball, Vontrail Ball, Damone Williams, Jaleesa Roberts, Latoia Ball, Rickyna Miller, Jasmine James and Gianna Hill; her siblings, Viola Peoples, Mildred Hart and Robert Jenkins; and her great great grandchildren, Theresita Grant, Yolanda Ewing and MaryAnn Brunson. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity A. M. E. Church (210 South Ave, Waukegan, IL 60085). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Cemetery (1436 Kenosha Rd, Zion, IL 60099).
