Aaron Lee Glass Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Aaron Lee Glass (North Chicago, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleophas Glass and Ora B. Glass; his brothers, Chas and Eddie Glass; and his brother-in-law James Walker of Calhoun City, MS.

He is survived by: his children, Keithney Glass (Equana) and Morgan West; his wife Porshia Walker of Calhoun City, MS.; his siblings, Linda Chamblee of Kenosha, Mattie Simmons (Ted) of Beach Park, IL, Arlie Glass (Cora) of Junction City, LA, Wiley Glass (Kathy) of Waukegan, IL and John Glass of Pittsboro, MS.; his sisters-in-law, Dell Wilkson, Peggy Allen (Bernard) of Calhoun City, MS., Wanda Green (Sam) of Gore Springs, MS. and Vadie Lee Glass of Banner, MS; his aunts, Fannie Price and Martha Williams; and his close friends, Ray Brown of Bruce, MS and Michael Helm of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2219 Audrey Nixon Blvd, North Chicago, IL 60064). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 12:30 PM at 1800 Green Bay Rd, North Chicago, IL 60064.
