He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ed, Neva King, Sam and Sigrid Thorgesen. He is survived by: his parents, Ken Thorgesen and Judy Thorgesen (King); his wife Beth Anne Noteman; his sister Lisa LeFevre (Brian); his nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Abby, Brooke (John), Kyle and Mia; his brother David Thorgesen (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Scott, Sean, Amelia and Brianna; his sister Kari Ruh (Ryan); and his nieces and nephews, Adalynn, Ansley and Ashtyn. He is also survived by friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Rick's name to benefit a new scholarship to be offered to a Senior athlete graduating from Kaneland High School. Checks may be made to the "Richard S. Thorgesen Memorial" and mailed in care of P.O.Box 66, Elburn, IL 60119.
