He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Theisen and Marie Theisen (Bohr); his siblings, Robert, Harry, Jim Theisen, Doris Hanson and S. F.; his parents-in-law, Chuck and Lorraine Sauber; his brother-in-law Paul Sauber; and also, Merina Theisen and Christine Zang.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Sauber; his children, Margaret M. Hemmerich (Robert), Michael R. Theisen (Janelle) and Christopher C. Theisen (Christine); his granddaughter Kathryn Frega (Pat); his great grandchildren, Scarlett and Caroline; his grandson Nathaniel Hemmerich; his great grandchildren, Gabe and Maya; his grandchildren, Harry Hemmerich, Maddy Hemmerich, Jessica Nelson (Danny) and Kaitlyn Wilson; his great grandchild Kaleigh; his grandchildren, Alex Theisen, Ellie Theisen, Jake Theisen and Whitney Purvis; his great grandchildren, Jaesen, Izabelle, Estella and Ashley Wilson; his brothers, Ray Theisen (Lee), Richard Theisen (Maureen) and Kenneth Theisen O. S. B. of Marmion Abbey; and his sisters-in-law, Roseann Theisen and Mona Theisen. He is also survived by his brothers, cousins, nephews, and sons.
