It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth (Buff) Ann Sorensen of North Aurora, Illinois, born in Oak Park, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scheer and Louise Scheer (Jallings); and her sister-in-law Shirley Hesche. She is survived by: her husband John Sorensen; her children, Jeff Sorensen (Eileen) and Heidi Thompson (Jack); her grandson Jeffrey; her siblings, Tom Scheer, Sally Haugk (Don) and Jean Dotson (Tim); her brothers-in-law, Chuck, Neil and Dean Sorensen (Lynn); her uncle Salis Scheer (Alice); and her aunt Esther Scheer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, second cousins and so many close friends.
