She is survived by: her husband John W. McKenzie August; her children, Sue Cotten (Joe), Jeff McKenzie (Connie), Scott McKenzie (Lilian Li) and Jim McKenzie (Charlene); her grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Sean McKenzie, Noah, Matthew Cotten, Zach and Jieni Li; her sister Viva Dirks; and her siblings-in-law, Alice Grimes, Roberta Danielson and Robert McKenzie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
