She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Schaefer and Anna Schaefer; her children, John Vlakancic and Clare Vlakancic-Thompson; and her siblings, Fritz Schaefer, Katie Beckman and Barb Linden.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Vlakancic August; her children, Paul Vlakancic, Mark Vlakancic (Sue), Ann MacGregor (Fiancé Dave Forler) and Joan Minnis (Chris); her grandchildren, Jacob Vlakancic (Bridget), Ashley Vlakancic, Sarah Guzauskas (Andy), Alex Vlakancic (Melissa), Crystal Nagy (Nate), Amanda MacGregor (Fiancé Dominique Robinson), Ben Minnis, Katie Minnis (Fiancé Scott Marchetti) and Zack Minnis; her great grandchildren, Alexis Nagy, George and Henry Vlakancic; and her siblings, Annie Deutsch, Regina Esser, Rev. Bernard Schaefer and Ray Schaefer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
