He was predeceased by: his significant other Beverly Holmes Hughes; his father Attorney Charles L. Hughes; his stepfather Rev. John Hall; his grandparents, Dr. Robert and Helen Kesel; his uncle Rev. Robert; and his aunt Dolores Kesel.
He is survived by: his mother Janet Hughes Hall; his sister Karen Griffin (Chris); his nieces and nephews, Ryan and Erin; his parents-in-law, Tom and Nancy Holmes; his sister-in-law Janet Holmes; and his stepsiblings, Jeanne Jackson (Arthur), Sharon Crowhurst (Jeff) and Mark Hall (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
